I ended up hiring Glenn because he was extremely professional, very reasonably priced (especially for the amount of time he puts in) and overall just one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Now that the job is done, I am so glad that I hired him because he brought so much knowledge to the table and really helped me think though how we use the space in our yard and how each decision would benefit my family. I never felt rushed through the process and he was always happy to consider the (many) changes I suggested along the way. The result was a great team effort and the installer (Brandan Ryel from Ryel Landscapes) did a beautiful job bringing Glenn's design to life. Highly highly highly recommend."

"I have never written a yelp review but I felt the need to have to give one to Glenn and Black Mountain Landscape. I contacted Glenn with a request to help us with our backyard. We had "good bones", mature trees, good larger plants, retaining wall etc... But we had no color or personality in our yard. I told him I wanted to surprise my husband for Father's Day and have the yard planted in one afternoon while he was at work. I told him all the things we liked, how we lived in the space, how we did not plants that would disrupt our pool or attract bees to the pool area. He immediately started sending me plant ideas, shopping location suggestions, plant shopping lists and recommendations for if we wanted to do more in the future. Needless to say my husband was thrilled! It was just something we could not visualize on our own but Glenn and his amazing eye could. I would recommend to everyone! Kind, timely, educated, fantastic!
